Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book your accommodation with the Oriental Hotel Mudgee. 
Please ensure you read the information below to ensure your stay is comfortable & enjoyable.
All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understood and agree to abide, and be bound by, the following Terms and Conditions.

Please note;  Keys will only be issued once you have agreed to the Terms and Conditions and paid all accommodation/booking fees. 
Check in time is between 2.00pm & check out time is 10.00am unless you have arranged otherwise with our hotel. (Late check out fees may apply).
If you wish to guarantee your ability to check-in prior to 2:00pm you must book an additional nights stay and pay the applicable rate for that additional night.

Upon payment in full of your accommodation and Credit Card Authorisation Form, keys will be issued to you. All guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys/remote controls and if keys are not returned at check out a $30 fee will be imposed to cover the cost of a new set.

Any cleans that are not a standard clean e.g. the property has been left extremely dirty will be charged at a further $35.00 per hour.  This will be deducted from your Credit Card. 
If during or after your stay an item is reported, constituting a charge, Oriental Hotel may charge your credit card once an invoice has been issued. 

All accommodation must only be used to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. No functions or parties may be conducted at the property unless previously arranged.  Exceeding the stated number of guests will result in charges to be debited to your Credit Card without further notice. 

The Oriental Hotel accommodation is located on top of the hotel and as such does sometimes create noise- predominantly on the weekends. On agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree to accepting to this noise that comes from the hotel’s general operations.

There is no smoking inside any of the Oriental Hotel rooms or internal common areas.  If there is evidence of such including a smoke odour you will be charged a fee of $300.00 to cover the cleaning of curtains, carpets and air-conditioning sterilisation. 

Payment Policy

All bookings must be paid in full prior to keys being given. Please be advised that a 1% surcharge applies to ALL Credit Card payments.
Credit Card Fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
If you choose to vacate a property prior to your check out date, all funds paid will be non-refundable.
The client also agrees to be liable to all outstanding balances and rental funds at the time of vacate.

Alternatively you may wish to pay by direct deposit or EFT.  Please ensure your YBI number is used as a reference. If this reference is not used we cannot guarantee that this money will be receipted to your booking and may therefore cause delays at check in time.

All extensions of bookings must be fully paid when the extension request is made.  Extensions cannot be guaranteed and are subject to other bookings in place.

A Credit Card Authorisation Form is required for each and every booking and must be completed and returned along with a copy of your Photo ID prior to your check in.

Individual bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance of the booking without penalty. Bookings cancelled within this period will incur the full accommodation charge.
The hotel reserves the right to amend or cancel bookings where guests are not present [or do not check-in] . The charge for the accommodation is not refundable in these circumstances.

If during or after your stay an item is reported, constituting a charge, Rentals Short Term may put a hold for this amount on your credit card.  The amount will then be completed and charged once an invoice has been issued. 

Cancellation Policy

All monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If there is an  EXTREME  circumstance as to why you need to cancel, a refund may be considered at the discretion of the Oriental Hotel
We will  NOT  accept the following reasons, including but not limited to:
•Change of travel plans
•Found alternate accommodation
•Property location isn’t suitable
