At Parautane Lodge we strive to provide our guests with a relaxing and rejuvenating bed and breakfast experience. We welcome you to relax and take in the scenery on our spacious deck or soak in our secluded spa pool.

All our accommodation suites are tastefully decorated; with local artwork adorning the walls. Every suite has French doors opening out onto a deck or balcony. You can enjoy uninterrupted vistas and take in the fresh country air.

Kick start your day with our generous breakfast before heading out to enjoy and explore. Parautane Lodge is located just 12 minutes drive from the cafes and markets of Nelson. Numerous vineyards, art galleries and historical sites are within easy reach. Kaiteriteri, The Abel Tasman National Park and Golden Bay are all within easy driving distance for a day trip. Nelson is also famous for an active outdoor lifestyle, with a wide variety of activities available.

Enjoy a glass of local wine before heading out for dinner at one of Nelson’s top class restaurants or use our facilities to bbq.

Parautane Lodge is a perfect spot for celebrating a special occasion or relaxing after a busy day sightseeing. Terms & Conditions

All our Lodge rooms are NON SMOKING. Smoking is only available outside. Please ask us about how to best dispose of your ashes and butts.

CHILDREN/INFANTS can only be accommodated by prior arrangement or in the Harris suite and will be treated as an extra person in the room. Please contact us if you wish to arrange for this so that we can plan how to best accommodate you for your best experience and the experience of the other guests in the Lodge.

CHECK-IN TIMES are normally between 2-8pm. Please park up in the guest carpark (follow the signs) and make your way down to the office. An express/self check-in will be available if we are not available to greet you personally. Should you require alternate arrival times, please let us know and we will be happy to help arrange it if at all possible. We are happy to help you to your room with any luggage should you need assistance.

Payment Policy

Full Payment is due on DAY of DEPARTURE. A valid credit card is required to secure the booking.

CANCELLATION FEES will be processed where applicable at the time of cancellation and in accordance with our cancellation policy below.
