Terms and Conditions for Paroa Hotel Ltd
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all guests of Paroa Hotel Ltd. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Reservation and Cancellation Policy
Group Bookings: A booking of four rooms or more is considered a group booking. For group bookings, the following cancellation fees apply:

More than 30 days before arrival: No cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date to avoid any penalties.
Within 30 days to 7 days before arrival: Cancellations made within this period incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total booking cost.
Within 7 days of arrival: Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date are subject to a 100% cancellation fee, with no refunds available.
All cancellations must be made in writing by emailing hello@paroa.co.nz.
Non-Refundable Bookings: Certain rates or special offers are not subject to cancellation or change. Non-refundable bookings will be clearly labelled as such and require full payment at the time of booking, which will not be refunded.

Individual Bookings: For individual bookings, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival to avoid a charge equivalent to the first night's stay. Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing hello@paroa.co.nz.

3. Payment Policy
Deposit: A deposit or credit card guarantee may be required at the time of booking.
Final Payment: Final payment for group bookings is required 30 days prior to arrival. For individual bookings or non-refundable rates, payment may be taken at the time of booking or, at the hotel’s discretion, upon check-out.
Currency and Conversion: All transactions will be conducted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Currency conversion charges are the responsibility of the guest.
4. Privacy Policy
Collection of Information: We collect information necessary to fulfil your booking and enhance your stay. This includes personal data such as your name, contact details, payment information, and preferences.
Use of Information: Your information is used to manage your reservation, process payments, and communicate with you about your stay. We may also use your contact details to send you promotional offers, unless you opt out.
Protection of Information: We employ robust security measures to protect your personal information. Access to this information is limited to authorised personnel only.
Sharing of Information: Your personal information will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law or to process transactions (e.g., credit card processing).
5. General Terms
Liability: Paroa Hotel Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your stay or use of our services, except as provided by law.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be resolved in the local jurisdiction.
