Terms & Conditions

CHECK-IN: Your chalet will be available from 2pm on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier please come and see us, as we may be able to accommodate you earlier.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 10am unless prior arrangement in place.

CHALET BED USE: As all beds are made-up we ask that you use only the number of beds to cater to the numbers you have booked and paid for.. The cost of laundry and labour to remake any extra beds used may be passed on to you. We thank you for your understanding with this.

CLEANING: In an effort to keep our accommodation rates fair, we request your chalet be left in a tidy condition at the end of your stay with dishes washed, dried and placed back in the cupboard. Chalet cleaning is included in your tariff, however if your chalet is left with dirty dishes, BBQ's, moved furniture or an unacceptable mess you may be charged an extra cleaning fee.

NO PETS ALLOWED AND NO SMOKING INDOORS. Please adhere to this condition as a consideration to others. Failure to comply will result in an extra night’s accommodation being charged to enable extra cleaning and airing out of the chalet. We thank you for your co-operation with this.

CHALET CHANGE: As all chalets are essentially the same and have very similar views we reserve the right to alter your chalet should circumstances require.

Payment Policy

CREDIT CARD DETAILS: Credit card is the preferred method to make a secured booking. You are not required to pay for your accommodation via credit card and can use cash or EFTPOS at the time of check-in.

BOOKINGS WITHOUT CREDIT CARDS: If you don’t have a credit card you can make a reservation by providing full payment via direct transfer at the time of booking (ANZ BSB ;016520, A/C ; 452255266) and then paying a cash bond of $200 at the time of check-in.

Bookings with Cheques and Money Orders: are accepted. Funds must be cleared 14 days ahead of start date and a $200 cash bond must be provided at the time of check-in.

PAYMENT: Full balance of payment is due at the time of check-in. Payments can be made using Visa card, Mastercard, EFTPOS or Cash. Other methods of Payment will not be accepted at check-in.

DEPOSITS: A deposit equivalent to one night’s accommodation is due only for the peak seasons of Christmas and Easter. This deposit is non-refundable. We reserve the right to take a deposit on all bookings subject to the cancellation policy conditions. If a deposit has been taken it will be noted on your confirmation letter.

Cancellation Policy

Bookings are a two way agreement between the Guest and The Lakeview Chalets. We commit to reserving a chalet for the Guest at the exclusion of all other inquiries and booking requests, and the Guest agrees to the conditions outlined below. By making a booking you affirm acceptance of the terms.

All bookings altered incur a $25.00 administration fee. Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the date of stay will incur a full charge. Bookings are transferable to friends or family in the event that a Guest cannot make their commitment to their booking. If a Guest misses their reservation, and for any reason fails to arrive for their scheduled reserved start date, the booking will automatically be charged in full.
Acceptance of the cancellation policy is a condition of booking and all confirmed bookings indicate the agreement of the above terms.
