Terms & Conditions

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT:
• Standard check- in time is from 2.00pm - 6.00pm. The name of the booking (or nominee) must be the person checking in.
• Standard check- out time by 10.00am.
• There is no front desk at this property. Guests must contact the Phil Unicomb Aviation Team by phone on 0477 634 141/0447 474 307 or in person at the PUA Cessnock Office in order to check in.
• A member of the PUA Team will endeavour to accompany you on your first visit to the PUA Cottage.
• Please notify in the event of late arrival.

OTHER:
• Additional persons will incur an additional charge.
• Children are allowed onsite but must be accompanied by legal guardian /parent. Otherwise, children are not permitted to stay at the PUA Cottage without prior written approval.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
• Damage, breakages, theft, and losses are the guests’ responsibility during their stay.
• Additional cleaning fees may apply as required.
• The consumption of drugs or alcohol in rooms is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of booking, dismissal of guest without a refund and legal prosecution. Alcohol may only be consumed in the PUA Cottage common areas.
• Smoking is not permitted at any time inside of the PUA Cottage. An additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged.
• Pets are not allowed in the PUA Cottage.
• For the enjoyment of all guests and neighbours, noise restrictions apply after 9pm. Excessive noise is not tolerated.
• The number of guests must not exceed the number stated on the booking confirmation notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email.
• Lost or stolen keys will incur a $200 fee. Attempts will be made to contact the guest who will be given the opportunity to return keys taken. Failure to do so will result in the fee being charged to their credit card.
• Room degradation (such as vomit, bodily wastes) a $500 cleaning fee will be charged, plus any professional floor cleaning charges at cost, plus a daily room tariff equal to the daily tariff that we would charge if the room was available to be let or any other rate that may be agreed to by the management, in accordance with business demand on the day, until the said room has been returned to its saleable condition
• The breach of any of the above conditions may result in immediate termination of rental and charges.

SMOKING:
• All rooms are non-smoking.
• For safety and to assure that our facility is not exposed to items or actions that create an odour which is unhealthy and objectionable to our guests and staff, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls, curtains and furniture.
• We do not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine, incense, cigars, candle burning, the use or diffusing of essential oils or synthetic products in the PUA Cottage.

DAMAGE TO MATTRESS AND BEDDING:
• Damage to mattress and linen, including towels, mattress protectors, sheets, bedspreads, blankets, coverlets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc, will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.

INFESTATION:
• The cleanliness of our rooms is extremely important to our guests.
• If you bring any infestation into your room or onto our premises, we may charge you for any or all costs and expenses, including immediate or urgent response requirements and loss of room revenue, that we deem necessary to address the infestation.

COOKING & FIRE:
• Cooking can only occur in the Cottage Kitchen.
• Cooking in guest rooms is strictly forbidden by Health Authorities.
• Fees for additional cleaning may apply should guest cook inside a guest room.
• Due to Fire regulations, Management must be aware of number of guests in rooms.
• NO CANDLES OR OPEN FLAMES PERMITTED.

LINEN, TOWELS & HOUSEKEEPING:
• Your comfort is of the utmost importance to us. Bed linen and towels are provided to all guests at the beginning of their stay. Phil Unicomb Aviation Pty Ltd does not provide routine housekeeping, however, guests are welcome to make use of the laundry facilities should you wish to wash linen and towels during your stay.

PARTY POLICY:
• Zero tolerance party policy.
• In the interest of quiet enjoyment and respect for all guests at the Cottage, a no party policy applies to all guests staying at the property.
• Guests are expected to be respectful of other guests at all times, and to be quiet between 9pm-7am.

PARKING AT OWN RISK:
• All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Phil Unicomb Aviation Pty Ltd shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the Cottage property. If a vehicle is left at the Cottage property after the guest has departed without the written consent of the Phil Unicomb Aviation Pty Ltd, Phil Unicomb Aviation Pty Ltd reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
• Not with standing anything contained in these terms and conditions to the contrary, Phil Unicomb Aviation Pty Ltd and its affiliates shall not be responsible for indirect damage, damage arising from consequential damage or special circumstances, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity, arisen out of the performance or non- performance of obligations under this terms and conditions.

SEVERABILITY:
• If any part of these terms and conditions should be determined invalid by reason of the relevant laws, it shall be removed without affecting the rest of the terms and conditions. The remaining terms and conditions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

Payment Policy

BOOKING:
• Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking.
• By providing valid credit card details, you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise Phil Unicomb Aviation Pty Ltd to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card in the case of cancellation or no show penalties as detailed below.
• Payment in full at time of booking.
• All reservations will be confirmed by email.

Cancellation Policy

REFUNDS:
• Phil Unicomb Aviation Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse provision of a refund for a cancelation made during your booking or within 48 hours prior to your booking.
• Subject to the above, Phil Unicomb Aviation Pty Ltd will make every effort to provide a refund for cancellations made at any other time. Cancelations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee to cover the cost Phil Unicomb Aviation Pty Ltd incurs when taking bookings.
