QRC Backpackers Accommodation offers value accommodation based in central Paihia, Bay of Islands, close to the beach, local attractions and local tourism operators. We offer a variety of room types all en-suite from Private Double, Private Twin & Dormitory rooms.
You can enjoy cooking and socializing with other guests in our fully equipped kitchen or enjoy cooking in the undercover BBQ area.

Terms & Conditions
Tariffs: Seasonal/unit rates and minimum booking periods apply. Extra charges may be levied e.g. for departures on public holidays.
Check-in: Is available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and /or check-out is by arrangement and determined upon availability.
Cancellation/refund policy: Cancellations up to 24 hours before the booked date incur no fee. Thereafter the deposit may be retained and the total amount for the booked accommodation may be charged.
Patched Members: Due to previous disruptions and issues, we are unable to accommodate patched or gang affiliated member/s in the Accommodation.
Changes in reservation term: Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in a refund unless the motel management approve and are able to relet the booked accommodation.
Smoking: As this is a smoke free complex. Please smoke on the designated smoking areas. In the event of someone having smoked in the room/balcony, we will engage a specialist cleaning company. We reserve the right to charge such costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.
Drug Use: It is illegal to smoke marijuana or take any prohibited substances. If any illegal substances or drug paraphernalia are found in your room, police will be notified. Your booking will be terminated immediately and will not be entitled to any refund. QRC Backpackers Accommodation reserves the right to conduct a random drug search if deemed necessary of the Lodge premises and guests' rooms in conjunction with the Northland Police.
General: Visitors are permitted at the management discretion. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel, will be charged to the registered guest. We ask that all guess are mindful and respectful to all other guests during their stay.
Payment: All accounts are payable on arrival date. We reserve the right to charge overdue/recovery fees on all accounts not paid by the arrival date.
Health and Safety: QRC Backpackers Accommodation requires all guests to follow the regulations and law of New Zealand government and health authorities.
Self-isolation and quarantine policy: Please note that QRC Backpackers Accommodation is not accepting any guests that are self-isolating or quarantining.
