Property Information
Rhyll Haven offers two luxury ground floor suites with private courtyards, the luxurious Rhyll Haven Cottage, plus two cosy boardwalk lofts with private timber decks.
All accommodation features a separate bedroom and with en-suite spa-baths and shower combinations(standard bath size) with Egyptian cotton towels, bathrobes and luxurious bath and body products. The Rhyll Haven Cottage has a double spa-bath and separate walk-in double shower.
Stay comfortable all year round with air-conditioning and overhead fans in summer and gas log fires and electric blanket for beds for the cooler months.
Both ground floor suites and the cottage have self-contained kitchens stocked with a delicious selection of breakfast provisions including orange juice, yogurt, ham & free range eggs, locally baked sour dough bread, spreads, quality teas and ground coffee. The Lofts has sloped walls and features a kitchenette with small cooking appliances and breakfast provisions.
All suites, lofts and the cottage are equipped with modern easy to use Weber Q barbecue ovens.
For a cosy day or night in, Rhyll Haven's Suites, Lofts and cottages feature an internet connected Smart TV in the lounges, App gateways to your Netflix account or movie app of your choice. Free, fast, enterprise grade WiFi in all rooms and outdoor areas.

Terms & Conditions
This is where we spell out our respective rights and responsibilities. These details are important to avoid misunderstanding and to assist in resolving any dispute that may arise before, during, or after your stay with us.
Rhyll Haven is a destination designed for peaceful relaxation for couples. There are one bedrooms in each Loft, Suite or Cottage and are equipped to sleep a maximum of two people only. The Lofts and Suites has a Queen size bed in the bedroom and a King size bed in the cottage. We welcome couples with babies under the age of 12 months. A traveling cot can be set up by request.
Guests booking for 2 persons but arriving with undeclared extra adults or children will need to book alternative accommodation. Our suites are not designed or provisioned with linen, towels, toiletries or breakfast supplies for more than 2 people. Sleeping on the floor or sofa is not permitted.
If you believe you have made an error in booking, please contact us or your booking agency immediately to cancel or transfer your booking.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES
CHECK IN: 3.00pm - 5.00pm (all guests will receive contact-less check-in details with a key-safe code by email on payment of deposit and again by a text message, only if necessary on day of arrival. We would appreciate a call or text from you to advise your likely arrival time, especially if you are going to the penguins first and not planning to check-in until late at night. Please note that as a small family hotel, we do not operate 24 hour reception. However a quick chat before you arrive usually solves most problems. We recommend that you drop by before the penguins to familiarise yourself with your accommodation so that you are not trying to work it out in the dark at a late hour.
CHECK OUT: up to 11.00am
Early check-in or late check-out cannot be guaranteed and should be pre- arranged and confirmed by management, prior to check-in and check-out.
Guests who overstay 11.00am check-out time without prior arrangement and confirmation by management may be charged $50 per hour as housekeeping staff will be standing by to prepare the room for the next arrivals.
RATES AND BREAKFAST -
Prices quoted on the Rhyll Haven website are in Australian dollars. They should be used as a guide only as they may change from time to time.
Rates include Breakfast Supplies for the first 2 mornings of your stay. If you require provisions for additional days, an extra charge will apply.
Our Breakfast Pack will enable guests to prepare their own breakfast in their own kitchen. It includes a loaf of freshly baked sour dough bread, Milk, Jams & Spreads, Ham and Free-Range Eggs, Orange Juice, Greek Yogurt, Muesli, Tea and coffee pods or Ground Roasted Coffee beans.
Special dietary requirements will be catered for by request and may attract an extra cost if it exceeds the standard breakfast package costing.

NO SMOKING POLICY
Rhyll Haven strictly enforces a No Smoking in Rooms policy.A $400 special cleaning levy will be imposed if smoking has occurred inside any of our rooms.
Smoking pipes such as shisha pipes are banned from use inside and outside our rooms.
Ash trays are provided in courtyards and on decks.
LOST, DAMAGED OR STOLEN PROPERTY
Rhyll Haven reserves the right to debit your credit card or invoice you for any amounts outstanding, or any extra charges for cleaning, damaged property or stolen property. towels, kitchen appliances, decorator items books,, remote controls and keys which are borrowed, damaged or not returned will be charged for.
KITCHENS
Our suites have full kitchens while our lofts have kitchenettes with a wide range of appliances. Dishwashers are provided in all suites. Please place used dishes, glasses, mugs, pots and pans and utensils in the dishwasher and activate normal cleaning cycle prior to departure. Please do not unpack wet dishes. Let them dry in the dishwasher. Also please do not hand wash and stack wet dishes in the cupboards.
Waste bins are located outside each suite and behind the Reception block for the convenience of guests. It would be appreciated if you can separate recyclable and general waste.
If you cook a meal and do not clean up as specified above, a housekeeping surcharge of $25 will be billed to your account.
BBQs
Weber - Baby Q BBQ s are provided outside all suites and lofts. Cleaning materials and tools are provided. Please ensure that gas valves are closed at both the BBQ and gas bottle after cooking.
CLEANING
COVID safe practices requires that contact with guests are minimized. Cleaning services during occupancy will be supplied as required - please contact us and advise if required, this may attract an extra fee dependent on the frequency and nature of servicing required. Longer-stay guests will receive a change of linen and towels every 4 days, unless otherwise agreed.
Extra cleaning charges will apply if the accommodation is left in a state requiring additional cleaning, labour, materials or resources. This particularly applies to spillages on carpets, sofas, chairs and bedspreads, cleanliness of the kitchen after meal preparation and smoking inside rooms.
OCCUPANCY AND USAGE OF PROPERTY
The maximum number of occupants per accommodation unit is 3 persons. No pets are allowed. The number of people checking in and occupying the unit must not exceed the number on the booking. If you arrive with more people than you have booked for, or extra people subsequently arrive, only the number of persons on the original booking will be allowed to stay in each accommodation unit. Extra persons will be required to leave the property and find alternative accommodation. One car parking space is allocated for each booking. No visitor parking is permitted on the property. These measures are necessary to ensure that all guests enjoy an uninterrupted stay.
PARTIES AND NOISE
The suites and lofts are not soundproof and guests are required to be considerate of their noise impact on other guests.
No parties or functions are to be held at the property to ensure the privacy and amenity of other guests.
Noise is not permitted after 10pm. This includes excessive volume on entertainment systems and loud Skype, Facetime or similar social media connections.
Guests infringing this rule will be cautioned and if they persist, may be evicted by security, without refund.
All visitors must abide by our Terms and Conditions and must leave by 10pm.

Payment Policy
PRE-PAYMENT
No pre-payment is required at the time of booking unless booking is within 7 days of arrival.
If booking within 7 days of arrival, the full amount will be due at the time of booking, cancellations will be non-refundable.
DEPOSIT
For accommodation booked prior to 7 days of arrival, one night's deposit will be charged to your credit card, 7 days before check-in, the balance will be charged on the day of arrival.
High season (for example, school holidays, long weekends, and major events) bookings of 4 or longer, made 4 weeks or longer in advance prior to arrival, requires a deposit of 50% of the value of the booking, 21 days before arrival to secure the booking, the balance will be charged on the day of arrival.
If there are no funds in your account for the relevant deposit due at the time, your booking will unfortunately be cancelled.
CREDIT CARDS AND DEBIT CARDS:
We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express.
We may pre-authorise your credit card for any balance as a means of verifying your card and protecting us against possible fraud.
Surcharges will be applied based on the cost of acceptance for the most recent 12 months as advised by our bank nab and AMEX. This is currently:
Mastercard: 1.95%
Visa: 1.95%
AMEX: 2.95%
Credit Card details are encrypted for security purposes and will be deleted after checkout.
If you wish to pay by Direct Bank Deposit, please ensure your deposit funds are cleared into our account 7 days before arrival and the balance before arrival.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION
You can cancel anytime up to 7 days before arrival without penalty, except for high season bookings made 28 or more days in advance prior to arrival and for bookings of 4 days or longer.
For high season (for example, school holidays, long weekends, and major events) bookings of 4 days or longer made 21 days or more in advance, you can cancel anytime up to 28 days prior to arrival without penalty.
REFUNDS
If you advise us of your cancellation after 7 days, we will endeavour to re-book the accommodation and if successful, your deposit will be refunded, less a $30 administration fee.

If re-booking is unsuccessful, Rhyll Haven will retain the deposit.
TRANSFERS
If you need to change or cancel your dates due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us and your booking agency immediately to avoid a cancellation fee.
Transfers between seasons and upgrades to a higher level of accommodation will incur additional costs payable by the guest.
