Terms & Conditions

When you book to stay with us you are doing so as well as accepting the booking terms and conditions.

The following Terms and Conditions apply to your stay at Riad Botanica.

Please note your reservation is not confirmed until full payment of the booking has been received.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
We are delighted to offer;
Check in time is: 2 pm or as soon as your room is ready
Check out time is: 11 am as everyone likes a lie-in!
*A later check-out is available upon request and is subject to availability. An extra charge may apply, please discuss your requests with our team.

RETREAT BOOKINGS
Please refer to your group booking terms and conditions.

NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
All stays must be used for private use only and to accommodate the number of guests (maximums are outlined per room on our website at http://riadbotanica.com/) this is also stated on your booking confirmation.
No functions, gatherings or parties may be conducted at the property without prior arrangement with the manager or reservations team.
Exceeding the stated number of guests will result in a termination of the booking and without consent, you will be required to vacate the property immediately without a refund. Furthermore, charges for additional guests will be debited to your Credit Card without further notice. If the amount owing is above the amount held you hereby accept this liability.

MINIMUM LENGTH OF STAY
A minimum 2-night length stay applies to all bookings. On booking, you agree to stay for the
required minimum nights.

CLEANING
Our wonderful team clean your room daily, and we provide a sustainable approach to changing linen every second night. Riad Botanica was originally a home built in and around the establishment of the Medina in Marrakech from the 10th Century. In 2022 it has been converted into a guest house, this renovation has been made to the highest standard, boasting local artisans and craftsmanship which can be seen across delicate plasterwork, bespoke made furniture, hand-printed wallpaper imported from Australia and within all fixtures and fitting. We ask that you treat our property as you would your own home. If the room or apartment is found to be left in an unreasonable state at check out, there may be breakage and excess cleaning charges involved. This will be determined on a case to case basis and a member of our team will contact the guest to advise if there is damage or if excess cleaning is required. Please leave the property in the state you found it.

PARKING
There is secure parking nearby which has nothing to do with our property and all vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Riad Botanica shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the property.

CHILDREN
We welcome children and infants, the pool is not gated and we advise parents to take care at all times around water. In particular young children and infants.

PETS
Fortunately we can also accommodate furry friends on the property, we have dedicated pet beds which we request people use for their pets. If there is any damage or mess created by pets there will be additional cleaning charges.

DAMAGE
Whilst you are in occupation, you are fully responsible for all breakages and damage caused to the Riad Botanica its furniture fittings, or any consequent loss suffered by Riad Botanica. Any such breakages, damage or loss, must be reported immediately.

SMOKING POLICY
There is a very strict no-smoking rule inside or within the courtyard and public areas of Riad Botanica. If there is any evidence of such, including a smoke odour, a penalty charge of 1000 Euros will be automatically charged to your credit card.

PERSONAL PROPERTY
Riad Botanica will endeavour to take all possible care but accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of equipment, merchandise or other property left on the premise during and after a guests stay. We advise that guests arrange their own insurance to cover such damages and/or losses.

Payment Policy

PAYMENT
Full payment for your stay is taken at the time of booking in euros. Please note your reservation is not confirmed until full payment of the booking has been received.

Paying via direct deposit helps avoid merchant fees via paypal or credit card.

If you would like to pay via paypal there are additional merchant fees that will be applied to the cost of the booking.
Rates
The rates quoted are based on your length of stay. Rates are subject to change as a result
to changes in your arrival and departure dates. Rates quoted are in Euros and
inclusive of 10% VAT.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION
Notice given 6 weeks and more before check in: 95% of the value refund will be given minus admin and bank fees of 5%.

Notice given 14 day before check in: 45% of the total booking value will be charged- minus 5% admin and bank fees.
unless booking is transferred to another time within 6 months.

Notice given less than 7 days before check in: 100% of the total booking value will be
Charged.

If you have booked via Airbnb, their Terms and Conditions apply to the booking.

COVID Cancellation Policy
In the event of any government lockdowns or travel restrictions, we can hold a credit for a
future stay. If you are unwell, self-isolating or quarantining, we ask that you please contact us as soon as possible and we can move your stay to another time.
