From Jakarta Most Destinations coming or transit through Denpasar Bali (Ngurah Rai Airport), and From Central of East Nusa Tenggara, Kupang (El Tari Airport ). The fastest from Denpasar Bali or Kupang can take 55 Minutes.

From Airport Umbu Mehang Kunda East Sumba can take 3 hours by car, and From Tambolaka airport in Southwest Sumba take you only 55 Minute.

Minimum Age Requirement
To ensure guests’ experience is up to the privacy standards, please note that only guests 12-years-old and older are permitted to stay at the hotel. In order to reserve a room and check in to our property you must be at least 18 years of age and provide valid government issued identification and credit card. The hotel requires that someone at least 18 years old must occupy the room and be responsible for all activity that takes place, if traveling with a minor.

Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in time is at 2 pm and Check-out time is by 12 am.
If you arrive early, or need to depart late, our staff will be able to store your luggage.
Early arrivals and late departures can be requested but cannot be guaranteed (fees may apply). Please contact reception desk for assistance.

Guarantee, Cancellation, or Change of Reservation
A valid credit card is necessary to reserve a room, or we use DOKU Payment Gateway System. All cancellations must be done on or before 6pm local time (GMT +8 ), fourteen (14) days before arrival (72 hours notice) to avoid a no-show charge equal to one night’s room rate and tax, which will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation.

Cancellations
As we are a small hotel, late cancellations and no-shows really affect our business, therefore our deposit and cancellation policy is as follows:
• We require a deposit equal to one night’s stay that will be charged to your credit card upon booking, the deposit is non refundable.
• If you would prefer, you can make a deposit or bank transfer for the equivalent to one night’s room charge and send us a copy of the deposit voucher or transfer receipt within 5 days of making the reservation.
• We will automatically cancel any reservation for which we do not receive either a valid credit card or notification of payment within 5 days.
• During peak periods, the deposit will be equal to 50% of the reserved stay

Please note, we require 14 days cancellation notice for reservation booking.

Non-refundable Rates
Reservations that are deemed “non-refundable” are not subject to cancellation policies and are non-transferable. In order to secure the lower rate at the time of the booking, the guest has waived the ability to cancel. The amount for the entire stay is due at the time of the booking and is not refundable for any reason.

Maximum Occupancy of Rooms
Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. Maximum occupancy for rooms is two people Adults and 2 Kids. Please note, children less than 12 years of age stay are not-permitted to stay without assistance. Extra Person might have extra charge IDR. 250.000,-nett per person include breakfast and all taxes.

Payment Policies
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking and will be authorized upon check-in for the full amount of the stay, plus taxes.

While most authorizations release immediately upon departure, some credit or debit card authorizations may take up to 30 days to release depending on the issuing bank. We not responsible for any fees or inconvenience that may result from the issuing bank authorization release process. If you are experiencing an issue with a pending authorization, please contact the issuing bank by calling the number on the back of the card, and feel free to contact the front desk if they require the hotel’s assistance in getting an approval released. Proper identification is required (government issued ID, valid passport).

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard. Please note that Personal checks are not accepted, and cash may be used to settle the account upon departure but does not waive the credit card requirement at time of booking or authorization at check-in. Foreign currencies are not accepted except emergencies situation and we will use the availability rate on that day.

Taxes
Our Rates are subject to change without notice. In addition to the quoted room rate all guests are required to pay the 10% Government Tax and 3% Service Charge.

Groups
Throughout the year, we may issue special discounted rates for Group Bookings. Please contact us directly for inquiries.

Breakfast
In-House daily prepared breakfast is served between 7:30 am – 10.30 am Every day.

Additional information
If you have any medical, allergic or any other problem that affects your accommodations, please inform the staff of the hotel when making reservation.

Damage to the Room and Public Spaces
Any type of loss or damage to items in the room or any public space will result in a charge that will be at the discretion of management.

Non-Smoking Policy
Our Property is a non-smoking property and all guest rooms are non-smoking. Smoking in the rooms will result in a cleaning fee of IDR.700.000 and continued noncompliance will result in
Dismissal from our property.

No Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed in our guest rooms and hotel public areas,

Safes/Lost and Found/Personal Property
The hotel will make every effort to retrieve and hold any items accidentally left behind for up to 30 days. After that period has passed, and the item remains unclaimed, it is disposed of. The guest is responsible for the shipping cost and custom fees (where applicable) for the return of lost & found items.

Any items left in or next to the garbage bins are considered refuse and will be discarded. The hotel is not responsible for items that appear to be for disposal. Guests are encouraged to avoid confusion by placing all items in the drawers and cabinets provided, or in their luggage.

Currency Policy
All rates are per room per night using Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) rates. All taxes and service charge are not included on the room rate.

Force Majeure
Rua Beach Resort Sumba shall not be liable for or be deemed to be in breach of the any of its obligations in relation to this Policy which may arise from or be due to any Force Majeure Event, which shall be taken to mean any event or circumstance the occurrence and the effect of which Resorts could not reasonably prevent or avoid, including but not limited to:
a. explosion, fire, flood, war, earthquake, storm or other natural disasters;
b. war, declared or undeclared, sabotage, insurrection, terrorist or criminal acts, riot or civil disturbance;
c. import or export regulations or embargo or requisition restrictions regulations bye-laws prohibition or any acts or measures or intervention of any governmental or regulatory authority;
d. epidemic, quarantine restrictions, outbreak of disease or any travel restrictions or bans (including bans on non-essential travel) issued by the World Health Organisation or any governmental authority;
e. computer viruses, worms, power failures, Internet interruptions or unforeseen technical failures;
f. strike, lock-out, work stoppage or other industrial action or trade dispute (whether involving employees of our Resorts or any other person); and
g. any default act or comission on the part of suppliers or sub-contractors.
