At the leafy end of Charles St, you’ll find Sporties Hotel, Bar & Kitchen, located in the heart of Launceston’s café precinct.

In the Bar, we have FOX sports live, 7 days a week, pool table . Only a short walk from the city centre & the General Hospital .
Upstairs, Sporties Hotel offers guests clean, comfortable accommodation within walking distance from the city centre and local attractions. Sporties Hotel accommodation includes f Wi-Fi for all guests. We have 8 rooms available in total - 2rooms fully ensuited and 6 rooms with ceiling fans, separate (down the hallway) private bathrooms, all with TVs and Fox Sports channels.

- Guests arriving after 9 PM must make advance arrangements by contacting the property using the information on the booking confirmation.

- A cash deposit or credit card for incidental charges and government-issued photo identification are required upon check-in.
- Special requests are subject to availability at the time of check-in. Special requests can't be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
-Room keys are to be dropped into the letterbox beside the main hotel entrance. Failure to return the key or loss of the key will result in a $75 fine charged to the guest.
-SMOKING/VAPING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN ROOMS/BATHROOMS and within 3 metres of any doorway throughout the hotel.
This is in compliance with Australian Law (6/12/2004).
FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN A $200 FINE, charged to the guest, for extra cleaning services.
-Unruly behaviour, including smoking will not be tolerated. Guests will receive only 1 warning from management and if behaviour continues to be deemed inappropriate guests will be asked to vacate without refund.
-We ask you to be respectful of other guests with noise level when in hallways and your room.
Payment Policy
Full payment is required at time of booking. A Pre-Authorisation of one nights stay will be held on all bookings as a bond for your stay.
Pre-Authorisation Credit Card Swipe
A Pre-authorisation allows for the placement of cardholder funds on hold for a pre-determined time, allowing the option of completing the transaction at a later date. This pre-authorisation will be actioned at check-in: thus authorising management to recover any costs associated with the damage, loss, breakages, incidentals or additional cleaning incurred during the time of your stay. We will make every effort to contact you before debiting any monies from your card.
Cancellation Policy
We require 24 hours notice to cancel a booking with no charge. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours will be charged the full amount of the booking.
