The Sunseeker Motel and Holiday Apartment Accommodation is ideally located on the Esplanade in the centre of Hervey Bay’s tourist strip situated only 20 metres across from the beach.
The Motel and Apartments are surrounded by culinary delights such as Indian, Thai, Chinese and great Pizzas! A general store is right next-door with all the essentials and Beachhouse Hotel is located on the next corner, offering cold drinks, great meals and live entertainment.
The Sunseeker Motel offers quality 3.5 star spacious accommodation and exceptional personal and friendly service. Guests have the choice of Double, Twin, Family, Motel style Rooms or Deluxe Studio Apartments on the ground floor or fully self-contained one & two bedroom Apartments on the first floor.
Reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans are installed in each unit as well as free WIFI. All motel style rooms feature flat-screen TV, microwave, toaster, refrigerator & tea and coffee making facilities. There is a large swimming pool, guest laundry, BBQ facilities and on-site boat and trailer parking.
Our friendly front-desk staff can book your Fraser Island, Whale Watching Tours, Fishing Charters and Great Barrier Reef tours... all major tour operators pick-up and drop-off right at our front door. If you wish to add that into your stay, please let us know.

Upon Booking You Are Deemed To Have Agreed To The Below Terms And Conditions
Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation
1. DEFINITIONS
“Booking” means the period for which you have paid to stay at the Property.
“Property” means Sunseeker Motel, 354 Esplanade, Scarness Hervey bay Q 4655 and all its fixtures, fittings, equipment and surrounds.
“Management” means the owners and managers of the Property.
"Guests" means the persons who stay overnight in the Property during the Booking.
"Visitor" means a person a Guest permits to visit the Property during the Booking.
2. ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY.
• Payment of the Deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. CHECK IN/ OUT
• Check-in time is from 2pm on the arrival date and check out time is no later than 10am on departure date.
• Late departure is subject to prior arrangement with management or extra charges will apply - $20 per hour
• You must notify management of expected arrival time and a mobile contact number at least 7 days before arrival.
4. PAYMENT
• Accommodation can be secured with a credit card and will be charged on arrival.
• We accept Master/Visa/Amex/JCB and Diners Club International. Cash payments and direct deposit are also welcome.
• We do not have a surcharge on any cards.
5. CANCELLATION OR VARIATION
• If you wish to vary or cancel your booking please contact management to amend or cancel your booking.
• Sunseeker Motel has a 7 day cancellation policy. One night accommodation is charged for cancellations within 7 days of arrival. No shows and cancellations within 24 hours will be charged the full amount of the booking.
• There is no refund for early departure before the check-out date.
• Guests booking through 3rd parties must cancel through those channels not directly with us.
• Should you be eligible for a refund it will be credited to the credit card linked to your booking.
6. SECURITY BOND
• A credit card authorisation must be provided to Management upon confirmation of your booking.
• Any damages, loss or expenses incurred by management as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged against the credit card. Examples include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests or visitors beyond those declared.
There is a charge of $20 per night for any "extra beds" used in the room, other than what is on your booking.
7. UNAVAILABILITY
• If the Property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. fire, storm, damage, etc.) then Management will inform you immediately and endeavor to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy; failing which any moneys paid will be refunded in full.
8. PARTIES & FUNCTIONS
For consideration to all our guests we have a no party policy. All guests visitors must leave by 9pm or extra charges will occur. Failure to comply can result in eviction without refund.
9. LINEN AND TOWELS
• We supply linen, pillows, blankets and towels which must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bathroom on departure. Beach towels can be hired for an extra cost.
• Additional cleaning and linen change can occur more often upon request and at additional cost.
10. PETS
• Pets are not allowed at the property.
11.OTHER GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
• You must comply with all applicable House Rules and all instructions from management and caretakers of the property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the property and our neighbours.
• You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify management of this immediately. Management may recover from you repair or replacement cost (at Management's discretion).
• Only the guests nominated and agreed in the booking may stay in the property overnight. If any other guests stay extra charges may apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund.
• Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses.
• All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived.
• The property should be vacated on time and secured. All keys must be returned to management, left in key drop box or as otherwise directed.
• You are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys.
• Smoking is not permitted in the Motel Rooms or within 4 metres of an entrance.
12. PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS
• In the case of any problem or complaint, you must inform management at the earliest opportunity so management has the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours.
• Any complaint, which cannot be resolved locally, must be notified in writing to management prior to departure from the property.
• Failure to follow this procedure may hinder the ability of management to rectify the problem or complaint and reduce or extinguish any claim you may have.
We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance since management are not responsible for any injuries, illness or accidents that may occur whilst staying at our property.
