This unique accommodation is nestled in a quiet location close to wineries, shops, beaches and restaurants. The Gallery Accommodation provides free parking, free WIFI, continental breakfast daily, book library, DVD collection, board games, private art gallery, two Queen-sized bedrooms, high-quality linen, towels and toiletries, retro and contemporary furniture, intimate outdoor entertainment area in a delightful garden setting, quality hooded gas BBQ, kitchenette sink, microwave, toaster, two flat screen TVs, Blu-Ray DVDs, iPod dock, two toilets, a bathroom and separate powder room, tourism brochures, refrigerated air conditioning, ceiling fans in all rooms and silent non-allergenic hydronic heating throughout.
We provide a discreet, personalised service and can assist guests with their individual requirements. You will only see us if you need our assistance but we are always available should you want our help or advice.
The McCrae district is a quiet, relaxed sea-side environment for most of the year with a range of restaurants, wineries, historical sites and attractions all within a short distance of The Gallery. During January it becomes a vibrant holiday resort with seasonal fruit farm-gates, circuses, carnivals and a host of other nearby attractions . The neighbourhood is safe and secluded with The Gallery situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac street with no through traffic.
Whilst there is a public bus service, a car is the most convenient form of transportation on the Mornington Peninsula. There is direct access from Melbourne via freeways and the trip only takes just over an hour by car.
The Gallery is fully insulated with double glazing, acoustic insulation, bamboo flooring, pure New Zealand wool carpets and art work for sale (ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing and photography). We also offer your choice of complimentary Melbourne newspaper, bread and milk. Our tap water is very safe to drink and has no discernable taste.
Our discerning guests appreciate the tranquility and exclusive retreat nature of the environment and respect that smoking and cooking (other than toaster and microwave) are not permitted inside the villa apartment. (Please note that we do NOT provide an oven or cooktop).
Reflecting our interests in culture, movies and reading is a great library of books and DVDs. We do everything possible to make guests relaxed and comfortable, but provide them with discreet service and privacy.
