The Savoy Double Bay Hotel

Excellent Double Bay accommodation in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. The Savoy Hotel, with 40 rooms, is in Knox Street, the heart of Double Bay Sydney. We are a small, tranquil oasis and we believe, the best value small hotel in Sydney.

We offer personalised service with excellent facilities, at affordable tariffs. We are just 4.5km from the city center by frequent bus, taxi or harbour ferry.All guest rooms feature remote controlled Flat screen TVs with digital channels, Telephones, remote reverse cycle air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with shower or bath, hairdryers, personalized toiletries and large well lit mirrors tea and coffee making facilities, and security key card access. All rooms are STRICTLY non-smoking.

Each room has WiFi Internet access ( Charges Apply - $4 per device for 24 Hour).

Executive Balcony Rooms are in the Retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of the other rooms.

For the comfort of all guests, the Savoy Hotel public areas and rooms are strictly non-smoking.

There is a guest laundry onsite for guests use for $5.00 per use. Detergent is available at Reception.

Parking is available at the Wilson's Car Park under the Intercontinental Hotel 33 Cross Street Double Bay. You can pay as you go or book on their website. Street parking is not restricted after 6 PM every evening until 9AM the following morning. From 6 PM SAT, there are no restrictions until MON morning 9AM.

Terms & Conditions

The default bedding for all rooms except the Family Rooms is 1 Queen Bed. The default bedding for Family Rooms are 1 King Bed and 2 Single beds The hotel MUST be advised as to the number of guests AND beds required to ensure the correct room type is allocated. Number of beds in each room category differs and so if not advised the hotel will allocate ONE BED ONLY.
Standard Rooms DO NOT HAVE EXTERNAL WINDOWS. Please read the description before you book.
Please read the CANCELLATION POLICY applicable to your arrival date. We have a strict change or cancellation policy for FRI&SAT nights and Xmas and NY.
THIS IS A NON SMOKING HOTEL. $150 WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD IF YOU SMOKE IN THE ROOM
NO person under 18 years of age will be allowed to stay with out an adult in residence.
NO PARTIES are allowed in rooms, only the designated amount of guests per room. ANY GUESTS behaving in an excessively noisy or unruly behaviour that disturbs other guest will be asked to leave with NO refund of money.
Check in is guaranteed at 2PM Check out is at 10.00 AM sharp
Any booking not arriving after Midnight without advising the hotel, we will NOT honour the booking

Payment Policy

We accept American Express Mastercard and Visa. NO CHEQUES are accepted.
All internet bookings require PHOTO ID on check in.
Direct bookings have a 48 hour cancellation policy
Excludes Xmas and NY bookings which have a different policy. To avoid your booking being cancelled, ensure you have sufficient funds for your booking.

Cancellation Policy

All Internet and direct bookings will be charged a deposit of 30% of the time of booking and the balance 48 hours prior to arrival. All late cancellation or non arrivals will incur FULL charges and we will not refund any money charged.. Please ensure the credit card provided has sufficient funds for the payment or booking may not be honoured.

XMAS AND NEW YEAR POLICY– 5 day minimum
*early check outs will incur full 5 days
** Full payment will be charged to your credit card as provided on the 15th of December for any dates between 23rd Dec and 7th January. We DO NOT accept cancellations or changes after 12 noon 12th December and do not refund the monies taken. We do not refund if booking is reduced to less than 5 days.
