The Belfry Guesthouse

Welcome to The Belfry Guesthouse. We are an affordable, small, boutique guesthouse located in the heart of the picturesque town of Bellingen on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

The Belfry is a thoughtfully run guesthouse that combines traditional Bellingen hospitality with relaxed accommodation. We offer a large range of accommodation options within our 9 rooms including doubles and family rooms.

From our peaceful wide verandas enjoy uninterrupted views over the Bellinger River and the ‘Old Man Dreaming’ mountain range. We are perfectly positioned for a great stay in Bellingen as we are moments from the centre of Bellingen.

We are number one for convenience as local shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, micro brewery, weekly markets and the beautiful Bellinger river are only a stone’s throw from our front door.

The Belfry is centrally located to the surrounding area with the multiple beaches, Urunga boardwalk, wetland, Dorrigo National Park with its Gondwana rainforest and amazing waterholes in the Promised Land, only a short drive away.

A bit further afield are the wonderful Ebor falls, Point Lookout and Cathedral Rocks National Park

Terms & Conditions

Check-in is from 2 pm - 9.00 pm. - If arriving outside these times please call in advance.
All guests are required to provide a valid photo ID (which may be scanned) when checking in.

The Belfry provides short-term accommodation for travelers, and the length of stay at The Belfry is generally limited to 14 days. Should you wish to stay longer than 14 days you may request this with The Belfry management.

Payment Policy

Your card will be charged 24 hours prior to your stay. If there are insufficient funds on your card we will try to get in touch with you but if this fails your booking will be cancelled.

Cancellation Policy

Your booking will be refunded in full if you cancel more than 48 hours prior to your arrival. Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours will be refunded at 50%
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice (midday the day prior to arrival) or do not check in at the guesthouse, a cancellation fee equivalent to one night's stay will be charged.
