The Grande guest house in Hepburn Springs is a country guest-house & function venue overlooking the forest 2kms from Daylesford in scenic Hepburn Springs. We are located a short 50 metre stroll from Hepburn's Main Road shopping and dining precinct and a 500 metre walk through the forest to the renowned Hepburn Spa and Bathhouse.

Terms & Conditions
Guest - person who stays overnight in the Property during the term of the occupancy
Manager - means the Owner or another person appointed by the Owner who is responsible for renting the property
Noise - means any sound which is offensive or a unreasonable disturbance to occupiers of neighbouring properties
Property - means The Grande located at 1-3 Church Avenue, Hepburn Springs and includes the building, gardens, car park and all land associated with the address.
Visitor - means a person a Guest invites or permits to visit the Property during the term of occupancy who does not stay overnight.
LICENCE TO OCCUPY
i) Guests are granted a limited permission to occupy the Property for holiday purposes;
ii) This is not a residential tenancy agreement under the residential tenancy legislation; and
iii) Failure to comply with the Guests obligations under these Terms and Conditions may result in termination of permission to occupy the Property and eviction
i) Guest and Visitors must comply with all House Rules, By-Laws and instructions from the Manager or any security services, staff employed by the Manager during their stay;
ii) Guests must notify the Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbours as soon as practicable; and
iii) A copy of these terms and conditions along with the property specific House Rules will be available within the property.
iv) Businesses or corporate organisations making bookings will be the legally responsible entity for the booking and
- be responsible for ensuring their guests and visitors are informed of the Guests obligations under these Terms and Conditions and the compliance to these; and
- for any additional charges, payment of outstanding balances.
NOISE AND RESIDENTIAL AMENITY
i) Guests and Visitors must not create noise or disturbance which is offensive to occupiers of neighbouring properties throughout the occupancy.
ii) No external sound amplification equipment or loud speakers are to be used for broadcast, playing of music or similar purpose.
iii) Guests and Visitors must not engage in anti-social behaviour and must minimise their impact upon the residential amenity of neighbours and local community.
iv) the live performance of or any musical works; or the playing of any recorded musical works must not be not be higher than background music level before 8am on any day or after 12 midnight on Friday and Saturday and 11pm on all other days.
i) Guests are responsible for ensuring the limits set on Visitor numbers is complied with at all times; and
ii) Guests are responsible for ensuring the Visitors comply with these terms and conditions and the House Rules of the Property.
iv) A maximum of 6 visitors can be invited on-site by Guests without any additional notification or permission of the Manager
FUNCTIONS AND EVENTS
i) The Property is a registered Accommodation business and Licensed food and beverage venue; any function or event at the Property must have prior permission from the Manager and must not conflict with residential amenity and must comply with all other requirements.
ii) Planned functions may include weddings, corporate retreats and family and friend's events
ii) Prior notification and planning of functions and events will set the maximum number of visitors and times that they can be present;
iii) In respect of Functions and Events, The Grande Hotel is a licensed venue and alcohol for functions will be served and provided by The Grande Hotel. BYO is generally not permitted for functions and events and will require prior permission by the Manager to be considered in special circumstances.
iv) Other than functions and events planned in advance with the manager, the Property is not a "party house" and such activities are strictly prohibited;
CATERING AND USE OF KITCHEN
i) Guests are permitted to use the Kitchen for self catering in accordance with the House Rules;
ii) The Grande has exclusive rights over catering of food and beverages at the Property for Functions and Events
iii) Use of third party private and commercial caterers is not permitted without the prior permission of the Manager.
iv) The House Rules will provide instructions on equipment that may be used for self catering
i) Daily housekeeping of bedrooms is not not provided during a short stay though extra services can be pre-arrangedwith the Manager at an additional cost
ii) The Grande will pack down and clean up after any catering it provides to the extent of the catering provided; Guests will be expected to return The Grande to a reasonable level of cleanliness and tidiness on check-out;
iii) Additional towels and bath linen can be provided for stays longer than 2 nights at no additional cost
iv) For any emergency housekeeping requirements, the Manager can be contacted. Additional charges may apply
No smoking is permitted inside of the building including bedrooms; and additional cleaning charges may apply if this is not adhered to. Smoking can trigger fire alarms resulting in a callout of the Country Fire Authority (CFA). Any event causing attendance of the CFA which invokes a call out fee (up to $1,500) will be charged to the guest if caused by inappropriate behaviour or a breach of the terms and conditions.
No smoking is permitted in the grounds of The Grande Hotel where it can impact on other guests and dining areas.
There are a number of designated smoking areas and staff will advise of such areas available at the time, which is dependant on prevailing winds and weather conditions so that it does not impact on other guests.
Cigarette butts and any other litter must be disposed of properly and not discarded in the grounds or gardens of The Grande. Any additional cleaning required due to non-adherance to this will be charged to the guest.
The Grande Hotel is a fully licensed venue and BYO is not acceptable during catered functions without prior management permission. Consideration will be given for the consumption of BYO rare or old wines with a corkage charge at the discretion of the Grande Hotel management, if prior notice is provided. Consideration will be given for consumption of BYO wines on those days where the restaurant and/or bar is not open, at the discretion of the Grande Hotel management, if prior notice is provided. Drinks packages consisting of local wines, beers and soft drinks are available for self catered times if arranged in advance.
Guests are responsible for alcohol consumption including restriction of access to minors during your stay and specifically during times when the staff and management of The Grande are not on-site.
The Grande Hotel reserves the right to charge your credit card for any loss or damage; this may include, but is not limited to: broken glass, damaged or removed fixtures and fittings, vandalism; missing or torn bath and bed linen; stained bath or bed linen where stains are unable to be removed by commercial cleaning practices. Please note that if special cleaning is required to a room (such as staining of the carpet or the like) an additional charge may be applied of at least $100.
OCCUPANCY - Additional charges will apply if additional guests stay above the number listed or otherwise agreed. All rooms (except Room 9) allow for an occupancy of a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child. Room 9 allows a maximum occupancy of 4 adults (for an additional fee), if requested at the time of booking or prior to check-in.
PETS - The Grande Hotel is unable to cater for pets staying at the property and pets are not able to be brought into the building. Pets are able to be brought onto the property when dining as long as they do not cause any disturbance or aggression with patrons or other pets. Pets are the sole responsibility of the guest who brought the animal onto the premise.
MOBILE MASSAGE & THERAPY SERVICES - are not permitted at The Grande Hotel. The Grande Hotel may be able to offer some massage and spa services to guests on request.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS - The Grande Hotel accepts no liability for damages or losses to personal property.
i) Breach of these Terms and Conditions and the House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy.
ii) The Manager reserves the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the Property, Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these Terms and Conditions, the House Rules, or who cause a nuisance.
CANCELLATION BY THE GRANDE HOTEL - The Grande Hotel reserves the right to cancel your booking in the unlikely event of unforseen circumstances that would result in the accommodation being not fit for purpose. This may include but is not limited to extreme fire risk, extended failure of utilities (electricity, gas or plumbing). The Grande Hotel will provide as much notice as possible and will assist in securing alternative accommodation or you will be refunded all monies paid in full plus 10% of the package value for your inconvenience and this is the limit of liability accepted by The Grande Hotel.

Payment of at least 50% of the total fee is required to secure the booking. The balance of the booking is payable 14 days prior to arrival when checking in.
Bookings made less than 14 days from arrival date will require a payment of 100% of the package chosen.
All balances outstanding at the end of the stay must be settled at check-out otherwise The Grande Hotel reserves the right to charge any outstanding amounts to any credit card provided for the booking.
On cancellation, any deposit and fees paid will be refunded if the guest house is re-let at a price equal to or greater than the cancelled booking minus a $100 administration fee, otherwise the following applies:
Cancellations of more than 60 days notice prior to check-in will have a refund of 75% of the total fee minus a $100 administration fee.
Cancellations of between 60 and 14 days notice prior to check-in will have a refund of 50% of the total fee minus a $100 administration fee. .
Cancellations less than 14 days will only be refunded if the guest house is re-let at a price equal to or greater than the cancelled booking minus a $100 administration fee.
