The Pine Tree Cottage
A four bedroom, two bathroom cottage situated in the Brooks Creek valley of Bywong, this charming cottage is your holiday home that inspires the slow country life, yet within 25 minutes of Canberra City. The cottage is situated on 32 acres of lush countryside, with Brooks Creek running directly through the middle of the property. Situated amongst an old pine forest, the cottage evokes a feeling of being miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The creek beds are lined with fruit and olive orchards as well as some of the largest poplars and weeping willows you have ever seen! The perfect backdrop for a picnic, wedding, or even just a memorable stroll amongst nature.

Terms & Conditions
Self-Check In
We provide self check in using a key lock box system. This is be provided to you prior to your stay either via email or text message.
Inclusions
Complimentary consumables are included but not limited to bread, milk, eggs, bacon, butter, cereals, tea and coffee.
Extras
Available upon request we can provide grazing boards on arrival.
Wine is available to purchase.
Arrival & Departure
Your accommodation is available to you from 3pm on the day of arrival and check out is at 10am, unless otherwise arranged.
Cancellations
The Pine Tree Cottage would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Damages and Breakages
You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you or any member of your party cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest's credit/ debit card, or we may send you an invoice, for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. We may make an additional charge if you did not report this.
Liability
We do not accept liability for damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Children
Our property is most definitely child friendly. There are toys available both inside and outside for children (and adults to enjoy).
Wildlife
We do ask that you are mindful of wildlife who are happily living out their best lives here on the property and that they are left to be. Please do not feed the birds.
Cottage Occupancy
Our cottage has a maximum number of 8 guests, unless prior arrangements have been made. Additional costs apply.
Pets
Sorry, we cannot accept pets.
Data
Any data gathered during the course of your booking may be held on computer. We execute appropriate protection of all personal information provided.
Events
We do have additional space to hold events. The cottage has a strict no party policy, unless prior discussions have been made and agreed upon.
Payment Policy
For large group bookings or events such as weddings we require 50% deposit at the time of booking. With the rest due 5 days prior to check in.

If you need to cancel -- please give us as much notice as possible as a courtesy.
If there is less than 1 day's notice before arrival date - cancellation fee is 100% of total amount as we have little chance of getting a replacement booking.
