Touchdown Cottages is a group of 6 new Eco Cottages located on a 30 acre property only 2 km from the centre of Jindabyne. The cottages are very large with 2 bedrooms, open plan kitchen and living room plus a store room for bikes, skis, etc. The main bathroom has a shower and toilet with an additional separate toilet. All Cottages are totally solar powered (off-grid) using a very efficient solar power system with battery backup. The solar systems operate extremely well with a generator back up system if required. All water is rainwater, captured in collection tanks. All Cottages are heated using wood fire heaters, which make the cold winter nights extremely toasty at night. Each Cottage is very private with beautiful views of the surrounding grounds. There is an abundance of wild animals such as Kangaroos, Emus, Possums, Echidnas and Deer which meander through the property.
All linen is supplied.
The township of Jindabyne is less than 2km from the cottages and has a multitude of excellent Cafes, Restaurants and Retail Shops, as well as a Newsagency, Bakery, Butcher and a Woolworths Supermarket.

Terms & Conditions

No Smoking in Cottages
No parties or events on site.
Cars are to stay on gravel roads to protect sensitive native grasses. Maximum of 2 cars per site. No driving on Grass.
All cottages are to be left in a clean and tidy state with all dishes washed, dried and put away.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 1 night or 25% on longer bookings is required at booking and final payment is required on or before arrival.
Credit card bookings require a 1.5% surcharge
Bookings can be made by direct credit to avoid surcharge.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are fully refundable up to 21 days before arrival. Within the last 21 days the deposit will be refunded if the booked dates are filled.
Full refunds if guests cannot attend due to Government Covid Lockdowns.
