"The Trig studio" is a one bedroom self contained eco studio in a natural, peaceful environment. This unique architect -designed studio is luxuriously appointed and showcases contemporary furniture, designed and crafted in Tasmania. “The Container” is a a recycled eco luxe shipping container designed to inspire our love of the tiny house movement."The Container' features a king size bed,lounge, fully equipped kitchen, expansive decks and a bath under the stars. "The Space" is a renovated artists studio.. yes with lots of SPACE, outside bath, great linen and organic breakfast hamper included but not the amazing views of the other 2, The Space has a fully equipped kitchen and lots of room to move.
These sustainable boutique accommodations are powered by their own hydro electricity and solar energy. They are only a 20 minute drive from Launceston and their pristine surroundings make it the perfect place for a rejuvenating getaway, set amongst the Tamar Valley wine route.
"The Trig Studio "and "The Container" are located in a secluded area on a 50 acre bush and farm property. "The Space" is located closer to our house. Dine on the deck on fine Tasmanian gourmet and organic produce. Enjoy amazing views across the rolling farms and bushland to the Tamar River and Bass Strait by day and spectacular sunsets and starry skies by night. Awake in the morning to the sounds of birds and watch the native wildlife grazing at your doorstep. Take a short bushwalk on the property or continue up Mountain Rd to follow the Mt Arthur track to the summit (5 hrs return).Curl up in front of the wood fire with a book, DVD,use the art supplies to paint, draw or colour in.....maybe listen to some vinyl on the record player or use the guitar supplied to create your own music. Indulge in a glass of local wine while bathing in the outdoor tub, Tasmanian wines and meals can be purchased during your stay.
