TERMS AND CONDITIONDS
Please read the terms and conditions as they form the basis of your reservation. By making a booking, you have accepted the terms & conditions below.

REGISTRATION AND IDENTIFICATION
Upon Arrival, all guests are required to sign a registration form, and accept the terms and conditions for the stay.
Adequate identification (current Drivers licence, passport or other form of photo ID) is required at time of check-in to verify your identity. The manager reserves the right to refuse entry if ID is inadequate.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is between 2pm to 6pm, you can collect your key from our collection office which is located at 647 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne Vic 3000. Early check-in may be available but is not guaranteed. If you arrive after 5pm Monday to Friday or on Weekends or Public Holidays, please contact us in advance to make arrangements for key collection.
Check-out time is before 10am. Late checkouts may be available but are not guaranteed. Please ensure keys and swipes are returned to Ironfish office or dropbox, located at 647 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne Vic 3000. If your check-out is outside of our normal business hours, please drop your key in the DROP BOX outside the office and SMS our Guest Relations Officer on 0426 878 268 to let us know you have departed. This will help us to ensure that the property is vacant, secured and available for housekeeping to attend. Any Keys or swipes incorrectly returned to onsite building management or left in apartment, will incur a $50.00 retrieval fee.

CREDIT CARD AUTHORISATION
On arrival, a valid credit card is required in all reservation for security purposes. A $200 pre-authorisation of your credit card will be charged as a deposit. Please ensure you have sufficient funds to cover any additional incidentals. Please note that pre-authorisation will be released in 7 – 9 days.
The card will be used to cover incidental items such as:
–Any excessive breakages or damage incurred during your stay.
–Any excessive cleaning charges, as a result of the apartment being left in an unacceptable state.
PLEASE NOTE: Cash payment of bond/security deposit will not be accepted and failure to provide pre-authorisation may result in your booking being forfeited.

PAYMENT
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express and various international credit cards. All amounts are charged in $AU (Australian dollars). The cardholder must be present at check-in for room payment or pre-authorisations to be processed on the cardholders card.

CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE
A non-refundable credit card surcharge of 2.5% applies when paying with a credit card at the office. This includes payments made through Visa payWave and MasterCard PayPass. (Please note that Diners Club cards and some international cards may incur a higher surcharge). When making payment via eftpos using a debit card, a standard surcharge of 48 cents will apply.

FAILURE TO PAY
In the event that a guest fails to pay immediately upon demand any amount owing to IF Stays, pursuant to the reservation and accommodation (including but not limited to suite damage and cleaning fees), If Stays reserves the right to deny access to the guest and ask that they vacate the premises.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND DESCRIPTIONS
Whilst care is taken to ensure that the photos and description of our facilities and services are accurate, these are continually being changed, upgraded, and on occasion removed from service. If any feature or facility is essential to you in choosing a particular property, we highly recommend speaking to one of our team members, whom will be able to confirm whether that feature or facility will be available for use during your stay. Descriptions are based on information available at the time of publishing and may vary or change at any time, without notice.

CANCELLATIONS
Our standard cancellation policy requires reservation cancellations or changes to be advised to us prior to 2:00pm (14:00) 60 days prior to arrival. If the guest does not arrive by 11pm (23:00) on the arrival date without informing our office, the reservation will be released and 100% of accommodation will be charged and pre-payment (if any) will also be forfeited. Over high demand and special event periods, alternative cancellation policies may apply. The cancellation policy will be communicated during the reservation process and can be supplied in a confirmation email upon request.

SUITE DAMAGE
The guest who books and registers at check-in/arrival, will be held accountable for any damage to the suite and contents, during the stay dates. The registered guest will be liable for any/all damage caused (including those by third parties visiting the suite), resulting in forfeiture of any deposits, pre-payment, cash security deposit and also may be subject to additional fees & charges. We reserve the right to process any charges in addition to accommodation and incidentals to the credit card supplied at check-in/upon arrival.

HOUSEKEEPING
We supply linen, pillows, blankets and towels, all of which must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bathroom on departure. Cleaning and linen change occurs every seven days or upon request and at additional cost for log stays and at the termination of every guest stay.

KEYS/REMOTE CONTROLS
All guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys/swipes/fobs/remotes. All keys/swipe/fobs/remotes are to be returned to the office or drop to the key box upon check out. Any missing keys/swipe/fob/remote will be replaced and guest will be charged a minimum of $200 to replace missing keys/swipes/fobs/remotes and locks (if applicable). Please note that this fee is based on information available at the time of publishing and may vary or change at any time, without notice.

If you lock your keys inside the apartment, outside of business hours (9:00am to 5:00pm), our guest relations officer may be able to assist you to call a locksmith however, the guest will be financially liable for any after-hours locksmith service call.

CAR PARKING

PET POLICY
IF Stays does not allow pets.
Guide and Service dogs are permitted provided that identification documentation containing the trainer and animal’s details, is provided to our office. Where possible, please inform us at least one week prior to your check-in if you will be travelling with a Guide or Service Dog.

NO PARTY POLICY
Upper West Side Apartment has a strict NO party Policy. Any behaviour deemed to be disturbing the peace, will result in eviction from the property.
Upon booking, a credit card pre-authorisation is required and will be used to cover incidental items including (but not limited to) breakages/damages, lost or stolen property, excessive cleaning charges (above the standard level of cleaning due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state) etc.

RIGHT OF ENTRY
In the event that IF Stays has a legitimate cause for concern or; if the guest has not been seen, nor been able to be contacted over a period of time, the suite may be entered by an IF Stays representative, to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.

RUBBISH REMOVAL
A rubbish (trash) chute is accessible to guests on each level for the disposal of rubbish (trash) from the suite. All guests are responsible for the removal/disposal of their own rubbish (trash) on a daily basis. Bags are provided in each suite for this purpose.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking in the internal suites is not permitted however, some suites may have outdoor balcony area where smoking is permitted. If you decide to smoke on the balcony, it must be done with the sliding door closed at all times. Failure to adhere to this instruction may result in an additional $200 cleaning & deodorising fee being charged to your nominated credit card.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY
We do our best to ensure your reservation arrangements are satisfactory, however IF Stays does not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control including, but not limited to, war, civil disturbance, terrorism, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment, maintenance requirements or industrial action.

SECURITY AND LOSS PREVENTION
All IF Stays buildings are secure environments and we do everything possible to ensure security levels are maintained, we ask that our guests do also.
IF Stays takes no responsibility for any personal possessions that are lost, stolen or misplaced whilst on the premises, nor items left in the premises upon vacating.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION
The emergency evacuation procedures are located on the rear of your unit entry door. Please familiarise yourself with the muster point and fire exits from your unit.

FIRE ALARM
All units are equipped with smoke detectors connected to the building’s main fire panel. Smoking in a unit, on a balcony with the doors open or around the common area passage detectors, will set the fire alarm off; Please be aware you will be charged by the Fire Department if it is found that you are the cause of a false alarm.
If you believe that there is an issue with a smoke alarm in your apartment or the smoke alarm is making a beeping noise, please call Smoke Alarm Solutions Emergency Hotline on 1300 852 301 for assistance.

Please be aware that the onsite building manager is not responsible for any enquires relating to your stay with IF Stays. If you have any questions during you stay, please contact our Guest Relations Officer on 0426 878 268.
