Built circa 1900, Whitty Cottage is a fully self-contained, three bedroom miner's cottage which has been tastefully renovated to provide you with all modern conveniences, including reverse-cycle heating/airconditioning, wood-fired heater (May-September), fully equipped kitchen, roomy bathroom with new shower and large living area with television and DVD player. Accommodation consists of two queen bedrooms and third room with a double bed bunk (double bed on bottom, single on top).

Whitty Cottage has a sunny, wisteria covered rear verandah with outdoor chairs and barbeque.

Affordable accommodation in an unbeatable location for up to 6 people.

Suitable for couples, friends and family, the cottage is walking distance to Whitty Cafe, the Mountain View Hotel and the Dal Zotto Trattoria and cellar door. It's also 1km to Pizzini's and to the river, and only minutes to more than a dozen other local wineries.

Flat quiet roads are suitable for walking and cycling throughout the valley, and the river and lake are popular fishing and rafting/kayaking destinations.

Standard rate for 2 adults is for 1 room only.
2 rooms requires a booking for a minimum of 3 occupants.
3 rooms requires a booking for a minimum of 5 occupants.

Terms & Conditions

Thank you for booking Whitty Cottage, our home away from home. This is our home that we have worked hard (and are continuing) to renovate and update. We are happy to share it with you, but please treat it with respect. Any extra cleaning required or repairs as a result of your stay will be charged to you accordingly

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house.

We apologise that due to the nature of our insurance policy we are unable to accommodate pets at Whitty Cottage.

A valid credit card is required prior to your stay. Bookings are not confirmed until a valid card is provided. Your credit card details are required as a security measure. If there is any damage or loss to the property as a result of your stay, your credit card will be used to cover the costs of any repairs, replacement or extra cleaning. The booking is not confirmed until credit card details are received.

Payment Policy

Full payment is required and applied on booking.

A processing fee will be charged for bookings made with Amex (3.7%).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation within 30 days of booking will incur full cost of your booking.
Cancellation prior to 30 days will incur one (1) nights accommodation.
