"Mio Monte" is a large sophisticated home showcasing modern Australian architecture with a Tuscan twist. Mio Monte is Italian for My Mountain with a large modern style kitchen, open plan dining & lounge living area with a cozy log fireplace that looks across the vine-filled valley to Mt Broke. Mio Monte also features a private tennis court, shared in-ground pool, 2 private outdoor alfresco BBQ areas with outdoor lounge & dining, outdoor fireplaces & Pizza oven. Mio Monte Accommodates up-to 14 with 7 bedrooms & 3.5 bathrooms.

The property is home to sculptures that dot the landscape & a historic landmark from convict days called "Poole's Rock", which the property was previously known by.

An Art Gallery with artwork curated by the Artist Rebecca Pierce, showcasing the beauty of the land and surrounding regions are featured in our guest house Mio Monte. Open by appointment only if not staying at the property or if this home is occupied.

Mio Monte Book

Mio Monte is a large award winning home that showcases Australian architecture with a Tuscan twist. Mio Monte is Italian for My Mountain and looks across the vine-filled valley to Mt Broke.
Mio Monte has recently opened up a beautiful art gallery, curated by the Artist Rebecca Pierce it showcases exquisite art works that reflect the beauty of the land and surrounding regions. Open by appointment only if not staying at the property, it is a showcase not to be missed when visiting the Hunter Valley region.
The open-plan dining and living areas are framed by full-length windows and sliding doors that open on to a long verandah and views of the private tennis court, vineyard & new pool. A stone fireplace, library and sitting room, two barbecue areas, seven bedrooms and three bathrooms provide ample space for guests. The entire home is available, with one or two wings on offer and room for up to 14 guests.
Mio Monte is not recommended for children under 8 years of age due to an unfenced dam close to the home as shown in the photos.
Price includes up-to 8 guests add an extra $50 per extra guest per night up-to 14 guests

Terms & Conditions

A minimum two-night stay applies to all bookings unless otherwise agreed to by Winmark Wines management.

NSW and National Public Holidays are minimum 3 night stay & all school holiday periods.

A deposit of 50% of the accommodation / tariff (and or any additional extras) is required to confirm reservations. No reservation is processed pending this transaction. The balance owing will be charged to the credit card holder seven days prior to arrival. Direct deposit transactions with Tax Invoice can be arranged & need to be confirmed by management within the same seven-day period prior to arrival that accommodation is paid in full. A security deposit hold on your credit card is required when booking any homes at Winmark Wines, The Residence is $1000, Mio Monte $500, Rock Cottage $500.

An inventory declaration is given by request to the reservation credit card, payment holder on arrival agreeing to the detailed report of itemized property.
Any lesser discrepancy of property in the itemized report will be charged on the credit card within 72 hours following departure. Any damage to fixtures or property loss, Winmark Wines reserves the right to charge the credit card holder to cover the cost of repairs or replacement.

An excessive cleaning charge of minimum $150 will be charged to the credit card holder in the circumstance where the guest has made unreasonable mess over the duration of stay. Smoking is not permitted in the homes and an additional cleaning charge of $150 will be charged to the credit card holder where the smoke has infiltrated through to the adjoining bedroom / lounge area. Checkin Checkout details are in your home, please read carefully.

Once the name of a reservation is confirmed it cannot be changed to another third party without the consent of management 24 hours prior to arrival
Winmark Wines prides its privacy and security offered to its guests. Any guest inviting / allowing a non paying visitor onto the properly without a day pass check-in processed via management before arrival will be asked to leave premises at the full cost of the reservation.

Arrival / Check-in is from 2:00pm, if there outgoing guests from earlier the same day, you will be notified 7 days prior and checkin time will be STICTLY 3pm to ensure property is cleaned & ready for your arrival. Departure / Check Out is STICTLY 10:00am (Where there is no reservation for 24hours a 11am check out will be offered to the guest). An admin fee of $60.00 will apply to all reservations where cancelled. Reservations cancelled between 15-30 days 50% of the total cost will be charged. For bookings cancelled between 0 and 14 days, there will be a 100% charge of the total booking if that reservation cannot be re-booked.

Security cameras are allocated throughout Winmark Wines outdoor areas mainly at property entry points, please ensure you have booked the correct number of guests.

Gift Certificates must remain in the name of the original recipient unless otherwise amended with permission from management 3 days prior to arrival with valid credit card details. All Certificates are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and after this date are subject to price increase as per the current rates and availability published via the website booking channel management.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 50% of the accommodation / tariff (and or any additional extras) is required to confirm reservations. No reservation is processed pending this transaction.
