Albany Waves Luxury Beach House Accommodation endeavour to provide and maintain an excellent standard of privacy and comfort for all guests. We aim to make your stay as pleasant as possible and ask all guests to please read and abide by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Booking Conditions
a) All Guests booking accommodation at Albany Waves must be over 18 years old, hold a valid credit card, take up occupancy of the property for the entire duration of the stay and agree to the Terms & Conditions of occupancy. Credit Card details must be provided at the time of booking
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions the Guest accepts all responsibility for themselves and other occupants of the premises. Should these conditions not be met then Albany Waves reserve the right to refuse to accept your booking at any stage.
b) You are required to provide Credit Card details to confirm your booking. 50% will be charged to this card 7 days prior to check in. Excluding peak holiday periods which your deposit will be taken 30 days prior to arrival and balance charged on day of arrival. If credit card payment is not available, a $500 bond will need to be paid by direct deposit into our Account below, and will be held until check out. Final payment is required to be paid 1 week prior to arrival. Please use your Surname as reference. If you have any questions please give me a call.
Please note: Payment of your deposit is considered your acceptance of the Booking Terms and Conditions.
Our minimum booking requirement is 2 nights with the following exceptions:
Long weekends - 3 night minimum
Easter – 4 night minimum
Christmas Holidays - 5 night minimum
Albany Waves accept Visa, Master Card.
2. Confirmation
Details of your booking with these Terms and Conditions will be sent to you for your confirmation.
Your booking is not considered confirmed until you have received written notification from Albany Waves.
3 A valid credit card is required prior to occupancy. No fee will be deducted for the bond payment when securing your booking. Payment will only be deducted if damages are found or additional guests have stayed that were not included on the booking.
Guests are responsible for the house and contents for the duration of their stay. Broken, damaged or missing goods will be replaced at your expense and it is much more pleasant to arrange this with you, rather than just charge you so please notify us if you break, damage or lose any items in the property.
The property should be left in a similar state to its condition upon arrival. Please wash, dry and put away your dishes including those used in the dishwasher. The barbecue equipment should be cleaned up, all rubbish around the unit to be collected and empty kitchen bin in the large green bin out the front of your unit.
We ask that SPRAY TANS, HAIR DYES, FACE PAINTING or CEREMONIAL POWDER/SMOKE must not be performed at any of the properties.
Any cleaning time over and above what is regularly undertaken to clean the accommodation WILL incur an excess cleaning fee OF $35 PER HOUR.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received more than 14 days prior to arrival, with peak holiday periods requiring a minimum of 21 days notice. Cancellations not received within the above times will result in the forfeit of your 50% deposit.
We may consider a change of booking for cancellations if notification is received 7 days prior to the original booking date. All changes in booking are subject to availability and any price increases that may have occurred between the time of the original booking and the new booking date.
There is no refund for early or unscheduled departure under any circumstances. Should you make a booking and not arrive on the day, you will be charged 100% of your booking tariff. The charge will automatically be charged to your credit card and a copy of the tax invoice will be mailed to you.
5. Arrival / Departure
Check in: 2:00pm*
Check out: 10:00am*
An early check in / late check out may be arranged depending on the extra time requested and our availability. Unauthorized late checkouts will attract a fee of $35 per hour.
6. Number of Guests
The accommodation can only be occupied by the number of persons stated on the booking confirmation form. Albany Waves reserves the right to refuse occupancy of the property if this condition is not observed.
7. Enjoying your stay
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure your privacy, please appreciate there are others close by to the common areas and your apartment.
Visitors are welcome however to ensure the comfort of others, we request that your visitors vacate the premises by 10.00pm. Please note that there is no visitor onsite , there is however plenty of free public parking within a short stroll.
Excessive noise levels will not be tolerated and Management reserves the right to ask you to leave the premises without refund if you or your guests disrupt the enjoyment of other guests.
* Definition of Noise: If other people can hear your Music, TV and/or Voices from outside your beach house after 10.00pm, then it is Noise.
8. Travelling with Children
Our luxury beach houses have been designed to provide stylish, comfortable and well equipped holiday accommodation to suit couples, friends and family groups.
We respectfully request parents supervise their children at all times and ensure they do not climb balustrades or balcony walls to avoid endangering themselves or others.
If staying in Driftwood, please advise if you need the wheelchair lift to be available .
For the safety of your children and the comfort of others, please do not allow children to play in the driveway. There are many great parks and beaches nearby to stretch little legs and burn off some youthful exuberance.
Stairwell guards, high chairs and small porta cots, complete with linen are available for use. Please request these items when booking to ensure that we have them prepared for you.
9. Guest's Property
Albany Waves takes no responsibility for personal belongings, baggage, vehicles and other property of any description of the Guest throughout the duration of your stay nor for items left on the premises after you have vacated.
10. Pets
Sorry, pets are not permitted.
11. Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the houses or on the property to respect other guests staying at the Albany Waves.
If you smoke outside please dispose of cigarette butts thoughtfully.
12. Right to Revoke or Refuse Bookings
Albany Waves reserve the right to revoke or refuse to honour any booking, at any time before or during the rental period, which may be, in their opinion, unsuitable for the property.
Albany Waves has a strict "No Party" policy, and as such reserves the right to refuse bookings for 'Schoolies', Hens and Bucks parties or similar.
Failure to comply with any of the above Terms and Conditions, may result in the immediate cancellation of your booking without refund.
