Tranquille's four-and-a-half star(Self rated) Bed & Breakfast offers a unique blend of enjoyment, pampering and relaxation.

Enjoy a leisurely fully cooked breakfast before departing for the day. We cater to all food requirements. We can provide our house guests with dinner and a menu is available in your room and upon request we just ask that you let us know when you check-in. If heading out early on the Spirit of Tasmania, we do a Breakfast Box for your take with you and enjoy at your leisure.

Our property offers three beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms (two with double spas), an art gallery and lounge area with log fire plus an inviting conservatory overlooking the walled courtyard, all this set amongst more than two acres of sweeping romantic gardens.

Port Sorell in north-west Tasmania is within an easy 15 minute drive of Devonport, the Spirit of Tasmania terminal or the Devonport airport, and just over an hour from Launceston. This area is renowned for its golden beaches, many and varied walking tracks, magnificent views, a range of water sports and easy access to the flora and fauna inhabiting the Narawntapu National Park.

Tranquilles is in a perfect location to unpack once, then explore the many highlights of Tasmania’s lovely north and north-west regions, such as Cradle Mountain, Stanley, Tamar Wine Route, etc.

We welcome corporate guests, offering business travellers an opportunity to feel “at home” whilst still receiving professional business support services including wireless broadband.
Bed and breakfast packages are always available for our guests (subject to prior notification). We are a fully licensed establishment, with quality collections of Tasmanian and mainland wines.
