There are numerous grass areas around the park available to pitch a small or large tent in the shelter of trees and flax. You can camp near a picnic table and watch the Tui and Woodpigeon fly amongst the native plants. Guests have access to the shared bathroom, shower, laundry and kitchen facilities which are in close walking distance from each site. There is also a shared common room with outside seating, dining table, TV and brochure information.

We offer a shared kitchen facility exclusive to our motel guests, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The kitchen is located within the Motel block, only a short walk from your room. There is a seperate coin op, laundry facility with a washing machine and dryer in the park.

Kiwiana Cabins offer a unique New Zealand Experience. If you just need a bed in a fun, private setting for the night, these are ideal. Please specify if 2 x singles are required as bookings default to double beds when available. All linens and bath towels provided plus TV, tea and coffee station. These are non-ensuite cabins. Facilities are share park bathroom, shower, coin-operated laundry and kitchen, plus a common room building with covered verandah and outside seating, dining table, TV and brochure information. Kiwiana Cabin- Two Single Beds Reserve

Kiwiana Cabins offer a historic New Zealand experience. These cabins were once the single man’s quarters while working on the construction of the Manapouri Powerstation in Fiordland in the 1960s.
If you just need a private bed for the night, our twin cabins accommodate two people in two single beds. All linens and towels are provided as well as a TV, tea and coffee station. These are non-ensuite cabins. They share the park bathrooms, showers, laundry and kitchen facilities which are in close walking distance from each cabin. There is also a shared common room with outside seating, dining table, TV and brochure information.

Family Bunk Cabin Reserve

A budget-friendly bunk Cabin is suitable for a up to 3 persons. The Bunk bed has a double on the bottom and single bed on top. Linens, pillows and bath towels provided plus TV, tea and coffee station. These are non-ensuite cabins. Camp bathroom, shower, coin-operated laundry and camp kitchen nearby. The Common Building has outside dining/seating, inside dining table, TV/lounge area and brochure information. All in close walking distance to each cabin.

Our newest addition to the resort is our Samson Hill Lodge, located just above the main resort. It features five large ensuites on the front of the complex, and five smaller rooms with shared bathroom on the back of the complex. All rooms have access to our brand new Lodge Lounge and Kitchen area, exclusive to our lodge guests. It features a large island, double cooking space, two full sized stand up fridges and one freezer, two large dining tables and a comfortable seating area with couches and TV. The entire complex can also be booked for groups, functions and corporate conferences.
This room features a Queen bed for a couple, with full linens and towels provided, personal TV, private modern bathroom and shower and a wall heater. Tea, coffee, kettle and cooking items are located in the lodge lounge, plus your room.

Samson Hill Lodge- Double & Single, Ensuite Reserve

Our newest addition to the resort is our Samson Hill Lodge, located just above the main resort. It features five large ensuites on the front of the complex, and five smaller rooms with shared bathroom on the back of the complex. Guests are able to walk next door to grab a coffee or dine at the Whistling Frog Cafe & Bar during its operating hours, with access to exclusive guest happy hour (this restaurant closes during winter for refurbishments, opens for the summer season at the beginning of October- May.
